Peter, John and Sharron, Deni and I will be joining you in both direction, with my son JT and his girlfriend Suzi in tow in Deni's car, if you don't mind?

Wooohooo! This will be our first REME motoring event. Thank you to Norm for letting us know about REME. We usually motor with the two labradors in the backseat - hopefully that's not a problem...if it is, please let us know and they'll have to stay home in the kennel! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Your dogs are fine, however we will be stopping for 60-90 minutes for lunch in Rio Vista. It should be relatively cool so it should not be a problem if they will stay in the car.

Thanks, Howard, and everyone for a good day. I had a great time.

Good news, pics are up at http://picasaweb.google.com/wygit1/REMEDeltaRun11152009#

Bad news, I just realized that the Christmas Run is the day before the California International Marathon, which I'm running in, and an all day car trip is probably not the best race prep for. Have a good time and I'm sorry to miss it.

Thanks again all.

Well, I just got home. It was a really fun run and nice to see evryone. We did have a great drive home. TJ & Deni Marrone and John & Sharon Matyja joined me for a fabulous run on roads I have never traveled (believe it or not). Some of these roads are sure to show up on a future run. (Howard look at my run home #3 in one of my lasts posts above). We did come upon some dead end roads and had to modify it on the fly. Pictures from the Delta Run will be posted tonight.

Sorry we missed a great day, was doing some tech support/training. Would you all object to me borrowing your pix to use on Miniology?

Thank you Howard for leading us today. Thank you all that contributed to the planning. Leeta made it back to Sac. after Rob fixed a flat. Here are a few more pictures http://picasaweb.google.com/jeffreyclayton/MiniDeltaNov09#

Run number three from Rio Vista to Santa Rosa cannot be done between map point 4 and 5. Langtry Rd is paved up to where you run into a Homeowners Association and may be paved past the no trespassing sign and continue over to CA-12. I drove up there a couple of years ago to see if it would go through but ended up returning to Spring Mountain Road. The Microsoft mapping software shows that it does go through to CA-12. The AAA map (California Regional Series - San Francisco Bay) shows Langtry Rd as paved and Los Alamos Rd from CA-12 as paved but does not show the connecting road between the two which is in the no trespassing area. I have not driven Los Alamos Road.

That's right (actually not an HOA but a large ranch)... we drove down the driveway past the "No Trespassing - Private Road" sign all the way to the end in front of a barn on a gravel driveway. What a view once you past the sign. Outstanding!

What I was reffering to were the roads just north of I-80 going in the back door into Napa County which were amazing...

My photos are posted in the Album Gallery

Thanks Howard and everyone involved in putting together this run. It was a perfect day to drive around the delta with the top down and nothing but Minis in front and behind me. Oh and a Austin-Healey too. I have posted some pictures http://picasaweb.google.com/BAMCObob/SacramentoDeltaRun11152009#
