Site looks great, and am excited to join. Is there a specific reason all the dinners of the year are in sacramento area? could there be more variety, as the club is officially in healdsburg? also, I am wondering what race times you have planned at Infineon, if any? Thanks!

<Hi Meredith, Welcome to REME! Dinners are social and are organized and held by the local chapters of REME. The Sacramento Area members have just scheduled their events for the entire year. I will be moving into the area very soon. I accepted a position in Petaluma at Casa Grande H.S. and will be looking for a place to stay. My family will remain in Visalia, CA until summer so we have time to look for a house in your area. Any suggestions on location?

Hi out there! I am wondering if anyone has any info on the Cooper S Automatic? My shifting days are over. I am considering looking into a Mini Cooper S Automatic, unless I hear that the shift car is the only way to go. I would appreciate any feedback (good or bad). <Hi Julie, An automatic MC & MCS were available in 2002-2006 model years. I assume they are still available in 2007, although I remember hearing that they may not be available in the 2007+ MCS. I suggest you contact Niello MINI in Sacramento.  -peter->

My first ever Cooper S Convertible should be arriving late next month or early December. I would appreciate any tips on driving and does anyone know if I can fit a golf bag in the trunk? Howdy…, I am starting an Indoor Karting Championship and I wanted to let you know about since that is what you do for FUN.... We are an Indoor karting racing league that will be running at Lemans Karting Center in Fremont Ca., similar to a bowling/softball league but a lot more fun. Our league allows teams of 4 or more to race head to head with other car clubs as they compete for the Championship Cup Trophy. Our next event is scheduled for Tue Night Jan 31st 2006 It will consist of a four race series thru the month of February. The cost of the event is $45 per driver or ($179 per team)/ 4 drivers per team minimum. 3 pit stops per race required. Each event will last for 90 min and we will have exclusive use of the facility for our events so everyone on the track is serious about racing. We currently have spots available if you are interested give me a call and I can fill you in with all the details of our racing league. Have a nice day.
